There are a few good threads about this running in the forums at MozillaZine.org, with one listing all the known problem extensions. Top of the list are 2 common ones -- Tabbrowser Pref's, & AdBlock. Ditch these for AdBlock Plus and another tab browsing extension (I've swapped to Tab Mix Plus). HTH. As always, it’s the extensions causing the problems.
