I just found out I am 8 weeks pregnant and am very excited about the whole thing and I guess at this point I will be taking off on paternity leave so that I can get things situated at home for my baby to be! Have not had time to do much other than get things packed up here at the office and heading home and setting up my home office.

Anyways plan on getting an email or a call from me soon if you know me otherwise know that I will not be blogging for at least a couple months so see you later on or talk to you real soon depending on who you are!

But there have been several businesses over the years that have done this in a non friendly SEO way and that has put a bad name on the blog advertising industry but there are still plenty of great places on the web that do it in a way that search engines like or should I say do not mind you doing, also what is known as white hat techniques. And then there are ways known as black hat techniques that are bad and if you do them your website will be removed from the search engines once it is found out.

As you can see I have written over 160 posts here on my blog and have done so with no advertising money and wrote everything here on my blog basically as a place to store my thoughts and favorite websites on the internet! But lately having time to get online and do anything other than read email or read the news has been hard to do since I have so much going on in life at the moment and until the end of the year!

Lots going on around here and the world this month hard to keep up with it all sometimes but I try to. Recently my friends blog unsigned podcast had a make over and my friend Santi started a blog up last month but did not find it till this month. I am always excited to hear or find someone that has started a blog.

Which it has and now Jon makes a 7 figure salary and own many homes and condos across the World.

When I heard the Alice”s granny was blogging I knew I had to subscribe to the feed via my rss feeder reader which is Google reader by the way. Seems to me that everyone is getting there news via rss feeds now instead of going to the website address itself which may save websites a lot of bandwidth.

In my opinon the current Administration has failed the American people in so many ways, one of them is failing to bring gas prices back down. I am not sure which Democrat I am voting for but Hillary Clinton has caught my eye and Bill Richardson has to but I would have really liked to have had the chance to vote for Al Gore. Maybe he will run as Vice President if Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic parties nomination.

Mine is easy Mac Donalds because it is cheap and fills me up. But ofcourse when I have some extra money I go for the backyard burgers because they have better burgers then Mac Donalds. I do give Hardess credit for there commercials for they are the best ads on television. And speaking of which when I saw a Wendys commercial the other day I know Dave Thomas rolled over in his grave when Wendy was a man instead of a girl. I think Jack In The Box in great to because they have alot of things on the menu the others do not but it takes a long time to get the food because they dont cook it until you order it. Anyways as you can see I am trying out this new polling feature plug in on my blog so alot of these questions are to come but I am having a blast trying it out at the moment.

I think that if someone is sick or dieing and want to use marijuana to help ease any type of suffering it should be allowed not just on the State level but on the Federal level as well. I am very interested in hearing what everyone else thinks about this subject and I hope it makes it to the National Presidental Debates. We should in NO way be locking up non violent drug users along side violent offendeers. Why someone should have to sit in a cell because they smoked a joint along with a murder or rapist is just beyond in reason to me.

First example is delicious it let people have a place to store there text link bookmarks. Then Flickr which allowed people to store there photos freeley. Then YouTube which allows people to store videos freely. Myspace which allowed people to store all sorts of personal information. So all these sites have one thing in common for sure and that is they allow people to store information freely on there server. And my last example but favorite one is Google which stores a snap shot of everything on the internet that it can see, then sells ads on the sides of the information it sorts. All of these companies have another thing in common, they all got rich off others people stuff.

We choose the name Women Geeks after about a entire night of searching for available domain names to buy. Then finding an affordable host was the next task, which we did the same night. Not wanting to deal with FTP issues and also wanting the website to be web standards compliant we went with server company that had fantastico pre installed so we could put a Wordpress blog on the website so anyone could add information from where ever they were and whatever computer they were on as long as they had the login and pass. We have still not decided on a theme for the website and after much debate have decided to create our own theme instead of using a free theme or a paid theme from somewhere else. And that is where we are today or should I say tonight, designing the theme from the new Women Geeks website. We are going to go with a 4 column theme and plan on having it ready by the end of next week but for now we need to decide on the placemnt of the Header Footer Sidebar and Posts but we are also wanting to add Flickr or Photobucket slides and probably a YouTube or Google video slide as well. Anyways wanted to give everyone a heads up on the upcoming night, any questions leave them here.

Not to many moments in the world can compare to the one minute that happens in this great town and from what I hear all around the world on April 20th at 4:20 p.m of any year. Have not had much time to blog due to the unbelievable amount of work I have had to finish at the office but wanted to blog a little bit today to let everyone know I am still alive in kicking. I ve been selected to host the womens night this week and welcome all those ladies in our lclub to my home this weekend to check out some new gadgets and gizmos and my new flat screen television. Everyone that comes make sure to bring something a bag of chips or 12 pack of soda or whatevers clever. I will order a 6 foot sub from subway like last time and have plenty space for everyone to sit back and relax but make sure to bring your own laptops so we can all LAN. Guess the answer and you would have passed my drivers test I choose the shot I mean some bacardi 151 vs Miller light ? The correct  answer is none they all contain the same amount. Well ofcourse I am out to prove my thoery is right which contains more alcohol then I am writing a letter to the State to have the question reworded or taken off the list. Well looks like I will be car pooling again this month since I can not take the test again for another 30 days.
