Thanks for releasing the patch so quickly. Was getting worried someone might mess with my blog via the security breach

WordPress 2.0.4

WordPress 2.0.4, the latest stable release in our Duke series, is available for immediate download. This release contains several important security fixes, so it highly recommended for all users. Weve also rolled in a number of bug fixes (over 50!), so its a pretty solid release across the board.

Upgrading is fairly simple, just overwrite your old files with the latest from the download. If youd like more thorough instructions, the Codex is always the best spot.

Since this is a security release, if you have any friends with blogs make sure to remind them to upgrade and lend a hand if they are not too savvy. Were all in this together.

Go Mobile

A while back we mentioned that we’ve been working with Sony Ericsson to incorporate blogging into their new generation of cameraphones. Well, the k800 has started to hit the market and our friends in Sweden have a helpful graphic to explain how it all works.

Check it out!

Tracking multiple subdomains? Want to track different parts of your site separately? Need to track more than four goals for a website? All of this is easier now, because we’ve increased the default number of profiles from 5 to 10. And if you’re not sure what to do with your new wealth of profiles, here are some ideas.

You will have to click over the the great ideas but I wanted to spot light this blog becasue of how unique it is.A great way to learn more about your website from how Google sees your site.

Saved locations on Google Maps

One of the most common requests we’ve received is for the ability to store a list of personal addresses on Google Maps — and now you can. To get started, click on the “Saved Locations” link in the upper right corner of the site and sign in to your Google Account. If you’re already signed in, this link will take you to your saved locations list — Google Maps will automatically save every location you search for. You can also go to the Saved Locations list to disable auto-saving of locations or to add, modify, or delete previously-saved locations.

An interesting post a must read further if your into Google maps another great way to use Google maps is something I saw on Google video a while back check out this clip here
